Mrs L. Kirk won tlie women’s trophy ami F. Connor the men’s. The president, Mr H. M'iiibbett, welcomed visitors and new members, and Mr I*. Clarke, president of the association, wished the club success. The patron, Dr. s. Morrow, declared the courts open and stressed tlie need to carry on despite the loss of many young men on service. WOMEN’S GOLF DRAW Ladies’ club day on the Morrinsville goir links will be held on Friday this week instead or Wednesday. A secret nine competition will be played in conjunction with a medal round.
