FUND EXTENDED
RELIEF OF DISTRESS COUNTRY DISTRICT REQUESTS The fund opened by the Waikato Times to enable Waikato residents to show tangible appreciation of the calm courage of Londoners for the way they are enduring Germany’s air attacks will remain open until next Monday, It had been decided to close the fund on Saturday, but representations have been made by some country districts to extend the closing date until after the week-end to enable them to complete previously arranged functions to raise money for this cause. The fund now stands at £1485 9s, the latest donations being as follows:
