OKOROIRE DANCE

FUNDS FOR HALL The spirit of carnival reigned at the Okoroire Hall, recently, when a highly successful dance was held in aid of hall funds. There was a large attendance including visitors from Putaruru, Hinuera and Tirau and surrounding districts. Music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs K. Musker, A. B. Brown and R. Rodgers. Extras were given by Mrs J. McLaren and Mr R. Cook. A novelty waltz for prizes donated by Mrs E. Hardwick was won by Miss Gwen Brown and partner. Mr N. Breward was master of ceremonies. Among those present were Mesdames H. S. Fergusson (Hinuera), E. Gubb, J. McLaren, Gordon Goodwin (Te Poi), Bill Brown, A. Hawke (Hinuera), Westlake, M. J. Earle, Gordon Brown, H. Bellamy, R. W.
