MATANGI FUNCTION

CHURCH WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP The monthly meeting of the Matangi Methodist Women’s Fellowship Group was held in the church hall recently. In the absence of the group captain, the Rev. W. Gatman presided over the meeting and led the devotional period. Miss L. Basstion, of Hamilton, gave a very interesting talk on “ Art in the Home,” and displayed some very beautiful arts and crafts. The speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The meeting was closed with the Benediction and the serving of afternoon tea by the hostesses, Mesdames Marychurch and Hillary. Those present were:—Mesdames E. Hicks, Hillary. Burnett, McDowell, Marychurch, Turner, Trownson, A. Libeau, W. Ringer, Palmer, Langrick, H. Baker, Robinson. Misses Pat Hicks, L. Basstion, Joan McDowell, Gladys Robinson.
