5 PER CENT INCREASE
WATERSIDERS TO BENEFIT (By Telegra;#.—Press Association) CHRIS i’CHURCH, Tuesday Waterside workers throughout New Zealand will receive a 5 per cent increase in wages as from tomorrow, by an order issued by the Waterfront Control Commission. The order makes effective to watersiders the 5 per cent extra recently awarded to other workers by the Arbitration Court’s general order.
