ENJOYABLE PARTY
An enjoyable party was given recently by Mr and Mrs O. J. Tuck at their residence, Hamilton Road, Ngaruawahia. The rooms were attractively arranged with bowls of spring flowers. Musical items were given by Miss Dorothy Tuck and Captain Tahiwi. Opportunity was taken during the evening to cut a beautiful birthday cake in honour of guests present, whose birthdays fell in September. Mr K. M. Wright, in cutting the cake on behalf of Mr and Mrs O. Tuck, Mrs H. Pickering, Mrs J. D. | Joy, Miss Nancy Wright, Captain Tahiwi, Mr A. Cameron and himi self, wished them a happy birthday, j Short speeches were made by Capj tain Tahiwi, Mr A. Cameron, Mrs J. D. Joy and Miss Edith Tuck. Among those present were:—Mesdames O. Tuck, K. M. Wright, W. Cavanagh, H. Pickering, J. D. Joy, F. Small, A. Cameron, De Groen, Woods, H. Sodersten.
