YUGOSLAVIAN PREPARATION GREECE AND TURKEY MOVE MOBILISATION IN BULGARIA (United Press Asn.— Elec. Tel. CapjrrflgM LONDON, Oct. 10 Yugoslavia is carrying out an ex tensive military review on her Alba nian and Bulgarian borders, and also while German troops moved dow the Yugoslavian part of the Danube the Yugoslavs staged near Zagreb mimic battle, in which 25,000 troop 140 aeroplanes and many tanks too part. German troops have been pass ing down the Danube for two day at the rate of five or six barges ever hour. A message picked up by the New York radio from Germany stated thai Bulgaria has rushed reinforcementi to Eer Greek and Turkish frontier! and has ordered partial mobilisation The Supreme War Council is in continuous session. A despatch from Athens says Gen eral Carassos, assistant chief of thw Greek General Staff, with three mill tary experts, has gone to Berlin. The Turkish press is most anxiou regarding the Rumanian military de velopments, and is pinning its hope on Russia’s reasserting her interer in the Balkans. The German radio announced tha Rumania has banned the export o: oil to Turkey, and a cablegram from Istanbul says Turkey has inform* Rumania that, in view of Rumania*! failure to fulfil deliveries of petroleum, Turkish cotton must be pai< for in dollars in advance. From Washington it is announce* that President Roosevelt has orderec that Rumanian funds and deposits ir the United States, estimated a 1 100,000,000 dollars, be placed in th( frozen credits account, similar tc those of other invaded countries.
