CAMBRIDGE COMPANY 150 TAKE OATH (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday | The Cambridge Auxiliary Reserve j Company, which has been operating successfully since July, went out ol last Tuesday when there was established in its place a company of the Home Guard. The change was made at the fortnightly parade at the Drill Hall, when, before a justice of the peace, the Oath of Allegiance to serve in the guard, or the defence forces if necessary, was taken by more than 150 men The reorganisation of the company into four platoons on an age basis was outlined by Mr E. J. F. Kennedy. | 0.C., and the re-drafting was carried j out. I No. 1 Platoon consists of men 41 j years of age and over, with Mr A. J. Swayne,, who is second-in-com-mand of the company, as platoon { commander. No. 2 Platoon includes j men 41 years of age also, the platoon commander being Mr A. J. S. Richardson. Mr W. Webber is the commander of No. 3 Platoon for men from 24 to 40 years, and No. 4 Platoon, for younger men from 16 to 23 years, is under Mr D. J. Lundon.
