SOCIAL RELATIONS

ECONOMIC CITIZENSHIP The Employee Partnership Institute of Hamilton has published another booklet (No. 11) in the “Towards Economic Citizenship” series. This newest addition is entitled “Social Relations in Industry,” and comprises three broadcast talks from station 2YA in the series “The University In Daily Life.” The first lecture, given by Mr H. Valder, of Hamilton, the founder of the Fellowship of Social Relations in Industry, deals with the subject, “Industrial Relations—A New Zealand Research.” By the application of science to the problem Mr Valder considers that a better state of social relations in industry can be attained and the conflict between Labour and Capital ameliorated.
