Saturday The following prices were realised at the city markets:— Poultry.—Cockerel.-, heavy breeds, prime. 5s to 6s each; not prime, 3s 6d to 4s 6d; light, prime, 4s to ss; not prime, 2s to 3s; fat hens, heavy breeds, 4s to 6s; light, 3s to 4s; drakes, young, prime, 4s 6d to ss; ducks, young, 3s to 4s; day-old chicks, 8.0., 2d; L.. unsaleable. Eggs and Butter. —Eggs, hen and duck, standard grade. Is 63d a dozen. Farmers’ butter, Is to Is 3d per lb.
