HAWKE’S BAY PILOT SERGEANT REPORTED MISSING (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday The following Air Force casualties were announced today:— Pilot-Officer John Gordon Pattison, seriously wounded in air operations, admitted to hospital and placed on the dangerously ill list. His father is Mr G. Pattison, Waipawa. Sergeant Lindsay Douglas Anderson, missing in air operations. His mother is Mrs S. M. McLean, Wellington. PILOT POSTED MISSING (By Telegraph.—Pres* Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday Pilot-Officer Winton Selwood Shann has been reported missing as a result of air operations, according to adviee received by his sister, Mrs D. McMillan, of Mission Bay. Pilot-Oflicer Shann is a son of Mrs N. Cooper, of Belfast. Christchurch. He was educated at Christchurch Boys’ High School, where he was a prefect and had an outstanding sports record, particularly as a * swimmer. After training at Wjgraa, he left for England last AprlL
