OBITUARY
MR J. O. DIXON The death occurred yesterday at the age of 67 of Mr John Oscar Dixon, of 10 Milton Street, Hamilton. Mr Dixon was born on the West Coast, where he spent his boyhood. He had since resided in various parts of the Dominion, including four years in Waihi. Mr Dixon came to Hamilton about 32 years ago and he was married here two years later. He was in the employ of the Hamilton Borough Council for nearly 30 years. Mr Dixon is survived by his wife and 12 children. Messrs F. J. Dixon. J. Dixon, R. Dixon. F. Dixon, M. Dixon, S. Dixon (all of Hamilton): Mesdames J. A. Pratt (Dargaville); A. W. Roberts, G. R. Dunning (Hamilton); Misses C. Dixon, F. Dixon and N. Dixon (Hamilton). There are 16 • grandchildren. MRS A. C. WALLIS The death has occurred in Auckland, at the age of 75 years, of Mrs Ada C. Wallis, formerly of Okete. j Mrs Wallis was born in Auckland, j In 1891 she married Mr H. A. Wallis and went to live in Okete. where j she resided until her husband’s death ;in 1930. She is survived by ten 4 children.
