LEVY ON WOOL
RATES FOR NEW SEASON (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The rates of the levy on all wool produced in New Zealand are announced in a Gazette notice to-night. They are: Sixpence a bale, threepence for each fadge, and a penny a bag or sack. These rates, which are unchanged, will apply on all wool produced in New Zealand which at any time during the season commencing October 1 this 3 r ear is exported from the Dominion or is delivered to a wool manufacturer for use in New Zealand. GROWERS’ REPRESENTATIVES (By Telegraph.— Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The following representatives of New Zealand wool-growers have been appointed members of the New Zealand Wool Council: Sir William Perry, Messrs H. D. Acland, L. Mac Lean and G. C. Warren.
