MEN FOR CAMP

WAIKATO REGIMENT TRAINING AT CAMBRIDGE DETAILS OF MOBILISATION Next Tuesday about 350 territorial troops will be concentrated at the Cambridge racecourse, where the Ist Battalion, 16th Waikato Regiment, will commence a period of intensified training under the Government’s home defence scheme. At least a month will be put in at Cambridge, present plans providing for a transfer of the unit to the Waiouru camp later. The advance party of troops will encamp at Cambridge tci r The remainder of the unit will assemble on Tuesday. Ail, with the exception of the Cambridge personnel, will travel by special train, with Major W. R. Daysh as troop conducting officer. The train will leave Taumarunui on Tuesday at 7.10 a.m., arriving at Frankton Junction at 11.50 a.m. There the troops will have luncheon before the train leaves Frankton at 1.10 p.m., arriving at Cambridge at 1.43 p.m. The men encamping on Tuesday and the mobilisation orders are as follows: Men from Hamilton Men from Hamilton will parade at the Drill Hall, Knox Street, at 12.30 p.m., under Captain J.
