LOST OVERBOARD
FATE OF CABIN BOY (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday As his ship, an overseas trader, was leaving the harbour last night, H. Carr, aged 19, of Cardiff, England, a cabin boy, disappeared overboard near Ward Island. A ship’s boat was manned to look for him and the examination vessel Janie Seddon at the Heads was signalled and left her station to assist. The water was choppy owing to a fresh •northerly, and despite a two-hour search the lad was not found.
