MINERS ON STRIKE
PAY TICKETS DELAYED PRESSURE OF OFFICE WORK (By Telegraph.—Press Association) GREYMOUTH, Thursday The Liverpool mine was idle to-day owing to a dispute in connection with the issue of pay tickets. It is customary to have the tickets issued the morning before pay-day, which falls tomorrow, but this morning the tickets were not available for truckers and wages men owing to pressure of work in the mines office. The men held 'a stopwork meeting and decided to go home.
