CRICKET SEASON

HAMILTON CLUB OFFICERS SEVERAL MEMBERS SERVING The annual meeting of the Hamiltoin Cricket Club was held last night, when the past year was reviewed and the officers for the coming year elected. The report and balance sheet, the latter showing the club to be in a sound financial position, were adopted. Messrs J. Everest, A. Lissette, E. Everest and J. Dempsey were congratulated on gaining Waikato representative honours, as was K. L. Sandford, 12th man in the Hawke Cup team. Messrs. H. Doyle, T. Elwrick, J. Everest, F. Forster, T. Gick, W. Innes-Jones, B. Pomeroy, K. L. Sandford and J. Taylor are members of the club who are serving with the Forces. The election of officers resulted. President, Mr A. E. Sandford; vicepresidents, Messrs. W. B. Pomeroy, J. B. Pomeroy, H. F. Blackie, E. H. Boneham, R. A. Grigg, W. Everest C. Lissette, H. Shepherd, R. Forster, N. Winger, G. Edwards, W. Hawkins, and J. H. Lowe; secretary and treasurer, M. A. Taylor; assistantsecretary, Mr L. Cross; delegates to association, Messrs A. Taylor and R. W. Pedrotti; executive committee, Messrs A. Taylor and L. Cross; senior selectors, Mr A. Taylor and the senior A. captain.
