PARADE IN AUCKLAND
WAIKATO REGIMENT N.C.O.’S Officers and non-commissioned officers of the Ist Battalion, 16th Waikato Regiment, and of the Hauraki Regiment, who will this week conclude a course of two months at the Narrow Neck camp, will march through Auckland tomorrow afternoon, before leaving to rejoin their units. During the march the salute will be taken by Colonel N. McD. Weir, N.Z.S.C., officer commanding the northern military district. The North Auckland Regiment, the Auckland Company, and New Zealand Scottish Regiment officers and noncommissioned officers, who have been at Narrow Neck, will participate in the march. On Saturday, the Ist Battalion, Auckland Regiment, the first unit in the northern military district to complete its home defence intensive training course, will march through Auckland city. On Sunday the unit will conclude its camp with a ceremonial parade at the Epsom showgrounds.
