Mrs E. C. Firth, Hamilton, left last night on a visit to Blenheim. Mrs W. J. McNicol, Auckland, is visiting Mrs Norman Taylor, Gordonton. Mrs T. Jarvis has left Te Kawa to make her home in Hamilton. Miss Edith Eggleston, Hamilton, has left to spend a holiday with her sister-in-law, Mrs S. Eggleston, Takapuna. Miss Marie McMullin, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs H. J. McMullin, has returned to Dunedin. Mrs A. J. White left Hamilton today to take up her residence in Rotorua. Mrs A. P. Davis, Wanganui, is on a visit to Hamilton. Mrs F. Walker, Hamilton, is visiting Auckland. Miss Elsie Revell, Koromatua, has | returned from an extended holiday in the Wellington and Manawatu | districts. Miss Violet Roche, one of the organisers of a sale of antiques at the , Hotel Australia, Sydney, on Septemj ber 27 for the Journalists and Artists’ Ambulance Fund, says that she has been given four genuine autographed photographs, one of Queen Victoria, one of Lord Kitchener, one of the Duke of Edinburgh, and the last of Prince Arthur of Connaught. To these she has added an autographed photo of Pavlova. Tomorrow evening a Military Ball will be held in the Regent Ballroom by the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band to farewell the Waikato Regiment on its departure for camp. TE KAWA Miss B. Campbell is spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs Goghlan, Rotorua. Mrs Ken Wills, Hawera, is the guest of her mother, Mrs M. Campbell. Miss Jean McKay, Hastings, is the guest of Mrs C. S. McLean. * * * * Mrs C. A. McLean has returned home after a visit to Auckland, where she was the guest of her mother, Mrs J. W. Smyth. Mrs O. M.
