INTOXICATED DRIVER
GAOL FOR COMPANY DIRECTOR (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Monday Seven days’ imprisonment and his license cancelled for a year was the sentence passed by Mr J. Morling, S.M., in the Police Court on Thomas Arthur Daley, company director, for being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-car. The police said that at 11.50 on Friday night the car collided with a safety zone in SymondsJßtreet.
