Denton, of Greymouth, that the Distinguished Flying Cross has been awarded to their son, Pilot-Officer F. H. Denton. Pilot-Officer Denton was born in Greymouth 23 years ago. He was | one of the first trainees at Greyi mouth under the civil reserve scheme, { and received further training at the j Taicri aerodrome. He completed his New Zealand training at WigI ram and left for England last De- | cember. An account of his war-time ex- ! perienccs was given by Pilot-Officer I Denton in a broadcast from London j last week.
