riLOT FROM GREYMOUTH iTv Telegraph.— Tress Association) GREYMOUTH, Monday Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs F. H. Denton, of Greymouth, that the Distinguished Flying Cross has been awarded to their son, Pilot-Officer F. H. Denton. Pilot-Officer Denton was born in Greymouth 23 years ago. He was | one of the first trainees at Greyi mouth under the civil reserve scheme, { and received further training at the j Taicri aerodrome. He completed his New Zealand training at WigI ram and left for England last De- | cember. An account of his war-time ex- ! perienccs was given by Pilot-Officer I Denton in a broadcast from London j last week.
