SEVERE INJURIES

PASSENGER IN CAR COLLISION WITH POLE (Special to Times) TE AROHA, Monday As a result of the motor-car in which he was travelling colliding with a telegraph pole on the Te Aroha-Paeroa main highway near Tirohia, Mr Roy Michell, son of Mr and Mrs A. H. Michell, of Te Aroha, suffered severe cuts about the head and abrasions. The other occupants of the car, Messrs W. Sherman, N. Austin, and M. L. Robertson, all of Te Aroha, were severely shaken and suffered bruises. Mr Michell was admitted to the Thames Hospital. The car, which was driven by Mr Austin, was seriously damaged.
