CHARGE OF MURDER
INCIDENT AT MANUNUI POLICE OBTAIN REMAND (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) TAUMARUNUI, Monday A charge of murder of Jeremiah O’Sullivan, of Manunui, yesterday afternoon, was preferred against Charles Harold Longley, aged 39, in the Police Court at Taumarunui today, before justices of the peace. Sergeant Abel applied lor a remand until next Monday and this was granted. An inquest was opened today before Mr W. Thomas, district coroner. Deceased, who was married, aged 52, was fatally shot yesterday afternoon.
