TEMPORARY CAMPS
NORTHERN TERRITORIALS SIX SITES ARRANGED Camp arrangements for northern military district territorials who were to have mobilised at Waiouru on October 1 are as follows: Rotorua racecourse. Ist Field Regiment, N.Z. Artillery; Cambridge racecourse, Ist Battalion, Waikato Regiment; Te Aroha racecourse, Ist Battalion. Hauraki Regiment.: Whangarei racecourse. Ist Battalion, North Auckland Regiment; Epsom show grounds. Auckland Company, New Zealand Scottish Regiment; Avondale racecourse, Ist Field Company, New Zealand Engineers. The mobilisation date is the same. The Waiouru camp is not likely to be ready, following delays through the recent fire and other causes, within a month. Advance parties will leave shortly for the various temporary camps. The 7th Battery, Bth Medium Regiment, N.Z. Artillery, which was mobilised on September 1, will remain in camp at Claudelands show grounds until the Waiouru camp is ready.
