GIFT OF £50,000
HELP FROM NETHERLANDS TOKEN OF ADMIRATION (United Tress Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 18 The Netherlands Government has made a gift of £50,000 to the Lord Mayor’s fund for air raid victims as a token of admiration “ for the splendid manner in wnich Londoners are bearing their ordeal.” The Prime Minister of the Netherlands and the Minister of Finance personally visited the Mansion House to hand the donation to the Lord Mayor.
