ALLEGED FALSIFICATION
BOOKKEEPER FOR TRIAL CHARGES INVOLVE £1296 (By Telegraph.—Press Assoclatioet AUCKLAND, Thursday On three charges of theft allegedly involving a total of £1296, Phylli* Olive Barnett, aged 31, in the Police Court today was committed lor trial in the Supreme Court. Mr Robert Urquhart, a barrister and solicitor, said that from April last accused had been keeping his trust accounts under his supervision. As a result of something he heard from the bank he accused her of falsifying the books. She said thing* were wrong but she was trying to put them right. Accused pleaded not guilty, bail in two sureties of £2OO being renewed.
