SALE STILL KEEN
MARKET FOR BULLS VALUES AT CLAUDELANDS Competition was again keen for the second day of the annual bull sale of the Waikato Combined Breeders’ Association at Claudelands today, when the remaining Jerseys were offered,.. Altogether 185 entries were catalogued for sale today, but a 'number of entries did not come forward. Top prices over the early sales ranged from 45 to 60 gns. One of the consignment from Mr V. McD. Hitchings, of Otorohanga, sold this morning at 60 gns to Mr Billinghurst, of Wanganui. The entry was a yearling, Windermere K.C. Kenneth, by Windermere Ace K.C. from Windermere Neat Faith, V.H.C. A 2-year-old, Happy Way of Edgecote, by Sir Robert of Pencarrow from Edgecote Bright Way, was sold later in the sale at 62 gns. on account of Mr A. L. Clark, of Cambridge. to Messrs Hi'ne and Sons, of Matangi.
