CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND (Special to Times) TE AROHA, Wednesday. The second round of the Te Aroha Golf Club's championships were played at the week-end. Results were:— Senior.—Dale beat Nicoll. 7 and 5; namfieM beat McLaren, 2 and 1: Clav beat Mathers, 2 and 1; Gardiner beat Davies. 3 and 2. Intermediate.—Bliss beat Towers. 2 and 1; Mackie boat Leltch, 2 and i; McLeod beat Rosenfeidt. 4 and 3; Meikle beat Curran. :i and 2. Junior. —WykPs beat Dye, 0 and 5: Bailey beat O’Brien, 2 up; O’Connell beat Jonns at the 19th; Wild beat Montague, 2 and 1. The stablerord scramble on Saturday was won bv Findlay with 34, after a count back with McLaren. The week-end bogey sc. ajnbie wits won by Montague, l up.
