SEVERE STORM
APPLE CROP DAMAGED POWER LINES DISRUPTED (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) HALIFAX, Sept. 17 A storm caused widespread damage to Canada’s maritime provinces. It ruined a quarter of Nova Scotia’s apple crop and blacked out a number of towns by disrupting the power lines. The storm is abating.
