ANNUAL REUNION

TECHNICAL OLD GIRLS’ ASSN. Happy schoolday reminiscences interspersed with games, items and competitions formed an enjoyable programme when the Hamilton Technical Old Girls’ Association held their seventh annual reunion in the School Assembly Hall last evening. A jolly spirit prevailed throughout the function, the net proceeds of which are to be devoted to patriotic funds. The stage had been arranged with bowls of golden Iceland poppies, and pink and white camellias. Mrs W. Fraser, patron of the association, received the guests wearing a frock of midnight blue chiffon velvet and Miss G. Walsh, president, was wearing a frock of black georgette. The programme was as follows: A Mexican folk play produced by Miss G. Fuller, and played by Mrs J. Capon and Misses Edith Best, Gladys Barlow, Frances Hildreth, Cushla Glynn; songs, Miss Alma Burton and Miss Val Porter; elocutionary items, Miss Shirley Burton; orchestral selections, the old pupils’ orchestra. The accompanists were Misses M. Row and N. Martin. The Committee Members of the committee present were:—Mesdames G. I. Gary, and J. Walker, Misses W. Webster, E. Best, Ruth Page, E. McGrail, B. Blunt, Betty Coulain, G. Barlow. Among those present were:—Mesdames R. J. Boyt, F. C. Forster, L. Bramble, J. Jack, H. H. Toombes, F. H. Churches, C. S. McNally, T. Gilling, H. F. King, I. Balle, I.
