AUCKLAND HAS ONE-THIRD (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday Discussing State Housing today, the Minister in Charge, the Hon. H. J. Armstrong, said one third of the aggregate of houses being built by the State were in Auckland. That was not because he treated Auckland applicants more favourably than applicants elsewhere, but because Auckland had the men and materials to construct the houses. The Minister said that in 128 cities and towns throughout the Dominion 1J,343 houses had been built or were under construction, the number occupied 91
