AIR RAID SHELTERS

MADE IN AUSTRALIA PROTECTION FOR 1,000,000 (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 16 Australian-made Anderson air-raid shelters were protecting 1,000,000 English people from Hitler’s bombs, said Mr J. H. Catts, United Australian Party candidate for East Sydney, at an election meeting last night. Mr Catts added: “ In three months 125,000 shelters were produced here without serious interference with other defence contracts.”
