Orders have been announced by the British Treasury to give effect to arrangements made with the Uruguayan authorities for regulating payments between the United Kingdom and Uruguay, which include permission to individuals resident in Uruguay in given circumstances to maintain accounts with United King - dom banks for the purpose of meeting certain kinds of personal expeni diture.
