DANCE AT NEWSTEAD
SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION A jolly dance was held at Newstead on Wednesday night, the music being supplied by Clayton’s Orchestra. Mr W. Lye was master of ceremonies, and an extra was played by Mrs Farrow. Among those present were:—Mesdames Farrow, apricot georgette; Stark (Hamilton), black lace over cyclamen; McCannell, black taffeta, rainbow trimmings; K. Trembath, black taffeta; T. Taylor, red crepe; Levis, black crepe. Misses Doreen Moreland, scarlet velvet; Evelyn Saward, scarlet tinsel cloque; Olive Hogan, blue figured satin; H. Wood, pink net over satin; W. Taylor, green French lace; B. Page, peach satin beaute; Thelma Hogan, petunia satin; Kath Taylor, gold silk and petunia taffeta; Rita Collins, floral taffeta; N. Hirst, tinsel crepe; K. Rice, scarlet cloque; L. McKendry, navy and white cocktail suit; McFarlane, blue net; Townsend, red satin.
