AT ST. ANDREWS LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY The qualifying and first rounds of the Hamilton Ladles’ Club championships were played at >t. Andrews links yesterday in go-id weather. The course was In splendid order and good golf was witnessed. In the qualifying rounds the best gross score* were:—Seniors: Mrs F. Manrier 80, Mrs H. McDonald. Mrs S. Bennett and Mrs W. Batt 86. Juniors: Mrs Berry 96, Mrs w. J. King 97, Mrs Daldy 98. Gillies Vase: Mrs Beattie 97. The following were the results of the match play:— Seniors.—Mrs F. Mander, a bye; Mrs L. I. Day beat Mrs Waring. 3 and 2; Mrs Rail won by derail It from Mrs Qrocott; Mrs Seyb beat Mrs Binrlon. 6 and 5: Miss Rruce beat Mrs Sommervell, 2 up: Mrs S. Bennett heat 'Mrs C. A.
