DAMAGE TO BRITISH PLANTS AEROPLANES SHOT DOWN (United I’ross Asn.—Klee. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 12, 3.15 p.m.) ROME, Sept. 11 A communique states: The Italian Air Force repeatedly attacked Solium, Sidi Barrani and Mersa Matruh, and bombed and machine-gun-ned plants, army vehicles a’nd troops. Considerable damage was observed. Our bombers shot down two British fighters. Two Italian planes arc. missing. The enemy raided Bardia, Tobruk. Derna and Lassala, and considerably damaged non-military objective:. Thirteen people were killed and 'll wounded.
