MRS GLANVILLE WINS AUCKLAND WOMEN’S TITLE (By Telegraph.—press Association) AUCKLAND. Thursday In the semi-finals of the Auckland provincial women’s golf championship Mrs P. R. Glanville (Te Awamutu), the holder, beat Mrs L. F. Faram (Titirangi), 2 and 1. 9 Mrs K. Dyke (Nelson), who played for New Zealand in 1937 in the Tasman Cup as Miss Joyce Betts, beat Mrs I. Rota (Hawera), 6 and 5. Strong driving, which was the predominant feature of her victory in the South Auckland golf championships at St. Andrews recently, enabled Mrs GlauviUe U> fentor the semi-final stages*
