MANY FIRES CAUSED CLAIM BY GERMANS (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 11 A commentator in a London broadcast said the new leaves used by the Royal Air Force consist of incendiary film, 'wrapped in cotton wool. Recent reports of forest fires in Germany show how successful they have been. Although the Germans admit that the -new weapon has caused many fires, they assert that it is completely useless for military purposes, and gives it as another excuse for the bombing of London.
The French authorities in Beirut have banned the circulation of all Egyptian newspapers in Syria and Lebanon.
