NO MEETING THIS YEAR POSTPONED FOR TWELVE MONTHS Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday A decision to postpone the annual race meeting of the Alexandra Racing Club ror twelve months was reached at the annual general meeting or the club at Plrongia on Saturday. At the opening of the "meeting, members stood in silence as a tribute to the memory or the late Mr W. Chappell. Mr T. Steel was voted to the chair in the unavoidable absence or Mr F. Potts, or Hamilton. Others present were Messrs R. ornisbv, E. C. Beet. A. E. Hood, W. Butler, J. Livingstone, <V. h. Barry, Eric Miller, C. Tamaki, W. Armstrong, J. \Y. Pyne, K. sjifleet. T. Chapman, r;. Rainbridge. J. Macky, T. Brown, S. , Ornisbv. A. Carey and J. Scott, secretary.
