OBITUARY
MRS G. M. RICHARDS The death occurred on Monday, at her residence in Avon Street, Frankton, of Mrs Esther Amelia Richards, at the age of 68 years. Mrs Richards was born at Raglan, and lived in that district until her marriage to Mr George Mobray Richards in 1900. Mr and Mrs Richards then moved to Waingaro, where Mrs Richards was closely associated with the Church of England, and also took an interest in school, social and sporting affairs. About six years ago Mr and Mrs Richards came to Hamilton. Mrs Richards is survived by her husband and two sons, Messrs T. H. Richards and L. S. Richards (Te Awamutu). There are six grandchildren. DR. C. S. DAVIS The death has occurred at his residence, Hammond Street, of Dr. C. S. Davis, aged 74 years. The late Dr. Davis, who was practising in England before he came to New Zealand in 1901, set up practice in Waipiro Bay, East Coast, where he stayed for 36 years, retiring to live in Hamilton some three years ago. He was very well known on the East Coast and took a prominent part in the progress of the district. He was married 13 years ago and is survived by his wife.
