Wheat.—The next shipment of Australian wheat is due shortly and orders are being: booked Tor supply rrom this shipment at 0s 9d a bushel, not cash before despatch, f.0.r./b., Auckland, for a minimum of 10 sacks. The demand for wheat is steady and the price for supplies from merchants’ stores remains at 7 s 3d to 7 s id a bushel. Australian Pollard. —Some merchants are out of stocks, and the small quantity available is being - strictly rationed. Wheatmeal is being recommended as a substitute Tor pollard. Australian Bran.—Supplies or Australian bran are available, and the price for a minimum of one ton. cash before despatch, is £8 IGs a ton. Lesser quantities from store. £9 10s to £9 15s a ton. Chaff.—The market Is steady in the South Island and the price in Auckland is £ls to £ls 15s a ton. Oats.—The price Tor graded remains at 5s 9d to 6s id a bushel. Maize.—The quality is improving and the price is 7? 5d to 7s 6d a bushel. Barley.—Barley from merchants’ store stocks, undipped, is 10d to 4s 11d a bushel: dipped. 5s 3d to 5s sd.
