CARD AFTERNOON
TAUPIRI RED CROSS The Taupiri branch of the Red Cross Society held an enjoyable card afternoon in the Red Cross rooms recently. The rooms were decorated with Iceland poppies and Mesdames W. Waring and R. Fransham were the hostesses. Those present were:—Mesdames O. Brooks, D. Welch, Tremlett, A. Gibb, I. Walter, A. Button, R. Burke, H. Riddell, J. Farrell, F. Wilson, senr., S. Grant, W. Waring, L. Powell, R. Fransham, N. Richards and Miss George.
