ADVANCE INTO ABYSSINIA CASUALTIES ON ITALIANS (Official Wireless) (Received- Sept. 10, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 9 A Cairo communique states: Some damage and casualties were caused by an enemy air raid on Mersa Matruh. There were no casualties and little damage when the enemy bombed Buna.
One of our Kenya patrols advanced to Corai, in Abyssinia, where it engaged a strong force of irregulars, inflicting casualties.
