OBITUARY
MR BERNARD ALLEN (By Teleg-rapn.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday Mr Bernard Allen, New Zealand manager of United Artists (Australasia) Pty., Ltd., died suddenly this morning in a private hospital in Wellington. Mr Allen was born in Brisbane 49 years ago and came to Wellington in 1929 as New Zealand manager of United Artists. A keen golfer and fisherman, he made a number of deep sea fishing expeditions, enjoying success with swordfish off Cape Brett.
