£3OOO IN SIGHT
AEROPLANE DONATIONS RESPONSE IN HAMILTON FUND CLOSES TODAY The £3OOO mark for the fund opened by the Mayor of Hamilton, Mr H. D. Caro, toward the provision of .fighter planes for Great Britain, is now clearly in sight, only £l6l 15s being required to bring the receipts to the round figure. Although the fund closed today with £2838 5s on the list at the Waikato Times Office, last night’s receipts from the Borough Council office are not included in the total, as the council staff does not work on Saturday. With the addition of donations which have been received at the council office it is likely that the £3OOO mark will be easily reached. The following donations are acknowledged :
