HITLER’S CONFIDENCE

COLLAPSE OF BRITAIN FIGHT TO A DECISION (United Press Assn.--Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 6 The following appears in the Times’ version of Hitler’s speech: “The British once said the war will last three years, but at the time I told Goering to prepare everything for five years. That does not mean that I thought the war would last that long. “Come what may, Britain will collapse. I know no other end than this. We must do away once and for all with the absurd state of affairs which enables one nation to blockade an entire continent at its own sweet will.

“I prefer to fight until a definite final decision is reached. We are prepared for everything.”
