45 NAZI PLANES
BROUGHT DOWN IN BRITAIN NINETEEN BRITISH MACHINES (Official Wireless) (Received Sept. 7, 1 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 6 An official statement issued late on Friday night says reports received up tc 11.30 p.m. show that 45 enemy aircraft were destroyed in the course of to-day’s raids. Nineteen Royal Air Force fighters were lost, but ten pilots are safe.
