CONCERN IN AUSTRALIA LOSS OF OVERSEAS MARKETS (United Pres* Assn.—Elec. Te!. Copyright) ADELAIDE, Sept. 6 The Leader of the Country Party, Mr A. G. Cameron, who is Minister of the Navy, supplemented his party’s policy speech last night. Dealing with some aspects of primary production affected by the loss of overseas markets, he said fruit and wheat were giving the Government most concern. It was proposed to make the best arrangement possible in regard to marketing next year’s apples and pears, while with regard to wheat the Government had strongly advised growers, whose industry had been subsidised by £15.000,000 in the past eight years, to embark on diversified forms of fanning for which an export market was practically assured.
