OBITUARY

MR W. M. CHAPPELL The death has occurred in a private hospital at Te Awamutu of Mi William Moreton Chappell, an old and respected resident of Pirongia. Mr Chappell, who was 84 years of age, had followed the trade of saddler at Pirongia for many years, and worked in his shop right up to a few days before his death. Mr Chappell had always 'been an enthusiastic stamp collector and had a fine collection. He is survived by his wife, foui sons, Messrs Leslie Chappell, Norman Chappell, Arthur Chappell and Gordon Chappell, and a daughter. Mrs A. R. Mounsey. The funeral will take place at Pirongia on Saturday.
