“WILL DEFEND PEOPLES”
FRENCH IN INDO-CHINA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tei. Copyright) HANOI, Sept. 4 “France has undertaken to reaffirm her obligation to defend her peoples in Indo-China against all menaces and is prepared, if necessary, to keep its promise,” says a communique. It is admitted that some of the Japanese demands are justifiable but the preservation of Indo-Chinese rights would be insisted on.
